Cd drive not working on

can u see the drive on the windows, where hard drive partitions are mentioned.
if yes, then its the problem of cd rom itself and u have to clean the lens as lens cleaner cds are available in market. if u cant see the drive in that portion then u have to activate it from CMOS setup at the startup by pressing del or required F key. most probably F1 or F10.
