Error 0x8007007f during avg 8.0 Installation.

Use ?Reset_Access? utility and check all other anti-spyware solution as most probably other application (SpyBot, Spyware Terminator, ?) has blocked the access during installation copy paste the following url in the address bar of your browser and run the file. Regarding on this matter please re-install your avg 8.0 then if the same problem is experience i recommend to please download again the installer of avg 8.0 or have higher avg version above 8.0. Just visit www.avg.com and make sure that you have downloaded completely the avg installer in order to avoid any error problem in the future while you are installing avg software.

you are not on the administrator account on the computer so it wont install. you need to be logged on as the admin. is it xp or vista.

Please use the following link to run the AVG removal tool on the computer. http://www.avg.com/download-tools restart the computer and install avg again.

Try another install cd. If the same problem occurs, then the hard drive probably has bad sectors.

This is simply a bad download. You will need to start by completely removing the failed install, otherwise you're going to run into it all over again. Now, did you save the down load or just run it straight from the net? If it was a straight run, you may have encountered a slight internet glitch during the run. What you want to do is save the download to the desktop, then right click on it and run as administrator. It should install properly this way. Another thing is make sure that you don't have any other Antivirus, spyware, or adware programs on the machine. If you do, you will need to remove them, AVG covers them all. The reason you want to remove them is because they perceives the AVG as a threat, especially other Antivirus programs, not a harmful threat, but a competitor threat, and will stop the download or install. Antivirus companies, especially Norton, doesn't like to lose their customers, so they throw in these little blocking programs, in hopes that it will detour you from going to another.

That is what microsoft's website says about the error. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Also have you made sure you have all the microsoft updates available installed.

i regognized somethig when i instal avg antimalware if i chose to install spyware the shield will not work if idont chose spyware the shild will work propably !!!!!!
