I have a msi motherboard (ms-7142) with built-in souncard. i dnt

they are only for windows xp as there are NO Vista drivers listed.
downlaod them to your desktop (so you can find them later)
double click on the new download to start the install, follow the prompts and restart when told ..

Need NIC drivers for an MSI mobo

install it
if it dosen't work
install it by device manager
and mark the sign ( don't search i'll choose the driver to instal and choose have disk .. look for he inf file in the winxp and install it

Problem installing Windows 7 on MSI KM4M-V


Id say with those specs Id be sticking to XP mate , win 7 like vista munches resources and without them it can be a pain

it maybe time to shout your self an upgrade , plenty of bargains at the moment.

3GB Sata driver? i dident know there existed so smal drivers
Anyway, if your bios dosent detect the driver u probably need to update the bios drivers.
Go to MSI site:
http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=&cat3_no=&prod_no=158

Instal LIVE UPDATE and let msi check you computer for laterst drivers u need to instal

UPDATION OF MSI ENGINE


Sounds like the installation file is corrupted on the CD. You could contact Nero and see if they can send you a new CD. If there are visible scratches on the CD, you could use a resurfacing machine to see if the scratches will go away. If this is being installed on a Vista Computer, it might not be compatible or it needs an update.
