Minolta Di 351 code C0500 & need reset code for this

I believe it happened after a power failure. I need the codes to reset the warm up phase (I believe) for this. Is there someone that knows how to do this?
Does anyone have a tech manual for troubleshooting. Really in a bind.
I also don't have the admin code. Does anyone know how to reset this also. I own it from my previous business, but lost the codes in a move. I appreciate any input. Thanks.

I have tried the small hole on the side. I hit the 3 when I see the dot come up on the left side, but it goes to a screen that looks like it wants me to input a code. The only other thing on the screen is an "end" button. I can put some numbers in, but I don't know any admin code or even where to push an "enter" button. Familiar with this one? Thanks.

Minolta DI-151 trouble code c0500

Sir/Mam Power off the machine. Wait ten seconds then holding down the Stop/Cancel button power on the machine. Clear the code then power off the machine. Wait 10 seconds and power on. If the code comes back you need to look for a new fusing unit (Hot Part) DO not reset the fuser cold catch on fire. That would ruin a perfectly good day!:).

Code c0500

C0500 is a warm-up error on those little machines. Try holding the stop button while switching on, that should reset the code. It sometimes happen if it's kinda cold, or when the power dips. If the code comes back, you'll have to replace the fuser unit.

How to reset error c0500

The error code means that the fuser is not warming up correctly. There is a small black rest botton on the main controler PCB on the back of the copier. You are going to have to take the back cover off, I believe in is four screws. Turn the power off and remove the back cover and find the small black botton, once you have found it, turn the copier back ON and press the botton and see if the error code can be rest. If it dose you are good to go... If not you may have to replace the fuser unit..... I did have a problem that was not solved with the fuser unit.. It turned out to be right side door switch... I would look there as well with the back cover off... Good Luck

An error code occur ed each time when it is started dialta-Di 350 and shown as follows "error code C0500 occurs " what to do plz help me!!

C0500 is a fuser warm up failure code. The procedure to reset is simple. First look at the right side edge of your control panel. This is where the meter count is and the "slide" that controls how dark/bright your display screen is. Now just to the left or front side of where the slide is you will see a small hole in the panel. You need a small paper clip or a tooth pick to insert into the hole. Next with the machine turned on and showing the code, insert something into the hole until the screen goes blank and begins to restart. You should see something that resembles the copier sitting on top of the globe. Keep watching the screen and at the far left side of the screen there will appear a small dot. As soon as the dot appears press the 3 key. You should now see a screen with several boxes. At the lower left is "Trouble Reset" - Press this box to reset the code. Do this reset procedure ONLY 1 time for every 10 minutes. If the code comes back you can try again in 10 miutes. If the fuser is heating and the machine just can not "see" it then you can do further damage to the machine if you try to reset several times very quickly. If the machine warms up and makes copies you are all set. If the code comes back you have a failure in the fusing unit and will need it repaired.
This procedure works on the Di250 Di250F Di251 Di251F Di350 Di350F Di351 Di351F.
Please provide positive feedback if I was helpful.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

C0500 refers to a low fuser temperature. You can attempt to clear the code by using the tech rep service mode.
Go to "Counter"
Go to "Trouble"
Trouble reset
If "warm Restart Swich" is asked for- This can be actuated through a small access hole on the right side of the control panel, using a straightened paper clip or something similar.
You may need to clear the counter by pressing "clear" and then "end".
After clearing the code, power cycle the copier. If it comes to "ready" you are all set. If not, you may have a blown heat lamp or thermal fuse which would need to be replaced by a technician. Good Luck!!"
