Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
I have an Acer Aspire 5100 laptop, have regularly drained and recharged the battery once a month. The battery shows fully charged and the battery led on the front of the laptop is on solid. When I try to boot up on battery, it begins to boot up but shuts down after a few seconds. Also, if I boot up with the AC adaptor and am up and running, any attempt to unplug either the input jack from the laptop or the plug from the power bar causes the laptop to shut down after a few seconds.
Replace the battery. Batteries usually only last about two years and it sounds like it just cant hold any more juice. To find a battery go to google.com and type in the model of computer and push search. Sorry for the news but its an easy fix
