Question about Dryers
Here in Italy with a clothes dryer product named "Zerowatt". Supposedly made in UK, labeled as such. Has cryptic pictures to describe the different modes of operation, but have no idea what these pictures mean. Product works OK to dry clothes, but would be nice to know if I could make it work better by choosing a different mode.

If one of the two thermal fuses are blown you will not get heat. Thermal fuses blow (and are not resetable, they must be replaced) when the machine gets too hot. Often this is caused by not enough air flow through the machine. Check and make sure your exhaust vent is not clogged. Clean it the best you can to get all the lint, dead mice, bird nests, etc. out. Also make sure air is blowing out of the machine when it is turned on. If not you have a blower problem.

If you have ever removed the lint filter area completely via the screws that hold the plastics in so you could clean it then remove it again and insure that you plugged in the two wires that go to the strip sensor.. (moisture sensor)

Heating element Your dryer's heating element may be partially burned out. If it is, your dryer still heats, but at such a low temperature that it takes three or four times as long to dry the clothes. If the element is partially burned out, replace it.

Ceck the vent hose and vent. Make sure these are clear of obstruction. This is tipical of poor venting. The dryer can`t remove the moist air to dry the clothes properly.
