Scan problem - slow with mac

Try setting the image quality to a lower DPI setting. I used one on my Amiga A1200, but using SCSI, and even that scanned in less time than that at 600dpi.It could be the image processing software that is causing the problem.

I have an emachine EL1210 with Vista and it is extremely slow printing any scanned item. What might the problem be?

the problem is that you are printing pictures at a high quality setting.
If you scan texts, documents etc, try to change the settings to a more appropriate set of settings, like text, draft, black&white etc.

Also, check your printer settings so the resolution for printing will not be over 600 dpi unless you mean so.

My computer is very slow uploading how do i fix this problem please

You may need to provide more details on this. But...
1). Do you mean that your computer is slow BOOTING up?
It may be that you need to Upgrade your RAM (memory) because as you add more programs applications to your computer over time, many of them load up some apps into memory on computer start-up. One way out is to type msconfig.exe (Start > Run > msconfig.exe), go to 'Start up' and uncheck the programs you can do without on start-up. But best way is to increase Memory.
2). Do you mean UPLOADING files to the internet?
This will depend on the speed of your Internet Link, and / or the speed of the server on the internet you are uploading to. Try uploading to some other destination and compare. If it is slow generally, then you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider and ask for Uplink bandwidth increase.
Hope this helped.

Lights on front right one goes out or blinking what does that mean

That should be the hard drive activity light. Its perfectly normal for that that to blink erratically or go out completely at times.

I've been having problems with the computer slow down and every time I get solutioncenter.msi and is not loaded in my computer, what shoud I do?

Regarding the missing "solutioncenter.msi", try re-installing the software that came with your printer or all-in-one. This may require removing the printer software first. This answer was posted on one of the HP forums.

In the future, it will help if you include the model number of your computer and printer.

How do i reinstall all of my Vista laptop because it is going slow and i have taken up too much space on the hard drive?

hi...the problem being is that you proberly have to much on your hard drive. Firstly goto control panel then add remove programs. Remove any that you dont use. Then goto system tools and defrag drive. If that dosent work download....spybot search and destroy....adaware and ccleaner these are freeware programs and therefore cost nothing. Once downloaded run these programs and your slow computer will once more run as it should.

Computer slow

A slow pc could mean alot of things. Virus's, spyware, too many programs running in the backround, and tons of old files, and cookies that need to be cleaned out often.

First download AFT cleaner and get rid of all the temp, files.

after you clean all cookies and temp. files, go here and do a full free scan. If it finds anything, it will clean it. It's safe and free.
If you have McAfee or Norton it will **** the life out of your computer unless you have at least a 1or 2Gb of ram.

The free virus programs are very good.

spyware program

After that, you may have too many programs running in the backround which will also slow you down.

In XP go to run, in Vista , go to start, type " msconfig " to get to startup. General tab, click on selective startup.
On the startup tab uncheck anything you don't want running in the backround. Hit apply and reboot.
Everytime a program gets installed, by default, it's in startup to run whenever pc is on, even if you don't see or need it all the time. By unchecking music players, printer's and even update's they will still work when you need them. Update's for things like Roxio and quicktime are not needed. There is a check for update's to every program.
