Question about Sony Ericsson Z530i Cellular Phone

Blank blue display screen

I have a sony ericsson Z530i flip phone and the inside screen has just gone a blank blue. The outside is ok and showing all the usual details. I read on FixYa sight that I need a new ''strip''??
what is this? how do I get one? is it really worth bothering because this is quite a cheap phone anyway?
thanks

Have you tried opening the phone? Most of the time you can improve this by using alcohol and a tooth
brush to remove corrosion from the lcd power strip and the board,a little heat from a blow dryer helps.

In blue tooth settings, turn it as visible for all. Try it, may be your problem could be fixed up.
