Question about Sony VAIO PCV-RX470DS PC Desktop
My old computer, the Sony VAIO PCV-RX470DS, needs a modern mobo and memory. I can install those w/o problem, but I need to understand the power switch pin-out so I can rewire it to the appropriate pins on the new mobo. The switch assembly includes a LED for power on and a LED for HDD running. Power switch is on a small circuit bd marked SWX-66, rev 1.01. The wiring harness is labeled FoxconnCO114 and 1-959-913-21. Any help much appreciated.
The connector pinout is found on page 54 of the System Reference Manual, which is available in PDF from the Sony Support site at this link:)
