If you hit enter does it boot up? If so then that is you windows password that will lock up your keyboard if you walk away from the notebook. If enter works with no password then you haven't setup that option yet.

How do I log into gmail when I forgot password and do not have phone or second account?

Can't help correct this but here is an idea that works for me. When you set up a password have a little note book and jot down the password and what it is for. When you change a password cross off the old one in your book. Add the new one. You can keep your little note book in your dresser out of sight and get it when you need to.

In Font Book trying to move or delete some of the fonts - it asks for a password dot know which password? those I try do not work - don't know if I ever set a pswd for Font Book? can you help

Font Book doesn't have its own password - but deleting some fonts will require the password of someone with an administrator account on your Mac.

If yours is the only user account, then you are an administrator. Just enter the same password you enter when you first turn on your Mac.

Help me sir how to repair my note book blank? firstly my note book BIOS password and I don't know it. I know it when I want to format my note book, but now is blank and the power is on. help me sir how...

As a laptop repair tech I get Acer laptops with unknown bios passwords and I use http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_Acer_Bios.php For only $20 they will calculate and send you the bios master password for your laptop. They will need the 8 digit code that you get when you enter 3 wrong passwords and hit enter. With that 8 digit code they calculate the bios master password for Insyde H20 bios.

My daughter put a password on her note book and she dont remmber the password

Attempt to lcok the password by keying in several wrong passes. The computer should allow for changes to what has already been unsuccessful. Then create a user default password.

TRYING TO CONNECT NEW PRINTER TO APPLEMACNOTEBOOK

the password it is asking for is probably the administrator password. If there is someone else that uses the computer also they may be set as the administrator and you probably have a normal user account.
YOu need to get the administrator password before you can install the printer. If this seems to be a normal problem for you then you should have yourself set as an administrator(control panel>user accounts))
Let me know if this helps with your problem and thanks for using FIxYa

Am trap .

Is it asking for the user name and password at windows or at the bios?

If its windows then just boot the computer go into windows in safe mode, keep pressing the f8 ke during boot and you will have the option to go in in safe mode, when you get to the logon screen click on the administrator account, go into control panel, user accounts and just delete the password for the account name. Re-boot and you are in.

If that doesnt solve it let me know
