Help, my son's gameboy DS lite top screen is very dark. If he stands in the sun, just right, he can see a bit. I've researched and found that the problem may be a broken power connection to the top screen. Help, we're in Costa Rica and I can't send it to Nintendo....
Ah, this happened to my cousin a year ago, his younger brother(2 years old) stabbed a pencil into the ds card slot and the top screen turns dark and he cant play most ds games.
your solution: i dunno how to fix this but u can try buying touch screen based games like animal crossing wild world and that may do.
The LCD Screen may be damaged. badly. Try asking a mechanic to replace the LCD screen.
Did you spill anything on the DS??
Check on Ebay, u can get the TOP lcd if it's that... I have read on how to replace it, and u will need to desolder the 2 speakers from the lcd!, here is a page on how to dissasemble it!
