Question about Dometic RM2852 Refrigerator
Fridge starts normally on electric when power and gas turned on. will start on gas but shuts off. fault light on. started on electric trouble light not on, some time later trouble light comes on fridge still works on electric but will not start on gas. Gas pressure to fridge is 10" of water. Board has been changed same problem
So, the solution was simple but not obvious: the heat probe and the igniter are one and the same item, and all we had to do was bend the probe/igniter closer to the burner. After we did that the refrigerator started to behave properly.
Oddly enough, the repair manual for the refrigerator shows a igniter with a heat probe above it: the is not how the refrigerator is built.

Sounds like your ignitor porcelain is cracked. Yes there is a miliamp signal sent to the circuit board to stop the ingnitor from arcing
