Laptop memory upgrade - Freevents X67

There are usually small buttons that slide in order to unlock access doors in the case, in addition to the screws. Look at the bottom of the laptop for switch type of buttons. There should be one to hold the battery and the cd drive and one for the hard drive. Keep a coffee cup next to you in order to drop the small screws and parts into it so that they do not get knocked off of the table during your work.
PLEASE RTE THIS ADVICE WIT SOME THUMBS UP!!!

PHILIPS FREEVENTS x59 fan does not start causing the laptop to overheat. Is there a bios setting for this? If not, how do I fix this?

It is a posible hardware issue and needs to be replaced. If it is within warranty you can call philips and they can fix that for free, if not you can still try calling them.

Or if you have local tech, they can help you replace the fan. It needs a computer tech because the fan is connected on the CPU, Mobo and they are the most sensitive part of a computer.

PSU connector on the mainboard

Not sure about that brand but the normal process for removing the back on a lappy is:
Remove all screws on the bottom.
Remove all covers and cards and put them safe
Remove battery rom and hard disk
Remove panel above keyboard and screen hinge bracket cover if any
Remove keyboard
Remove any screws from under keyboard that hold chassis
Remove screen bracket screws and connectors from screen.
Remove screen off chassis.
Remove any visible connectors that will get in the way when case is separated.
Separate case making sure no cables are caught.
Remove screws holding in motherboard
Remove motherboard
Turn over and resolder joints on the bottom of connector if plastic is in order.
Reverse the procedure for assembly.
Its not a very easy repair an experienced tech will take about an hour maybe a little longer to do it.
If your memory isnt great take photos along the way, makes for easier assembly.
Good luck
