Ducati 900 SS 1992

Hi there i have a problem with my bike, every thing was going smooth, never given me any problem its been two years i had this bike, i service it my self eg: brake pads, oil.

When i try to run in speed it will give me a jurk and then move while moving, or in other words when the bike is in running condition and if i want to speed it will not perform and burn more gas, i have recently changed the Air filter my understanding is there either the fuel pump.

what do you have to say........

I have an old air compressor that I have replaced the motor magstart and pressure switch on the motor is a 220 / 240 volt 5 horsepower motor it also has a low pressure oil cutoff switch does anybody have a...

Control: L1-SS-P-O-OL-OL-M-L2 In series, L1 is line 1, SS is start/stop switch, P is pressure switch, O is oil switch, OL is overload contact, M is magnetic coil (solenoid), L2 is line 2.
The voltage of M must be rated for the control voltage, across the line voltage (240V) or of a control transformer voltage, e.g. 240v/24v. A control voltage would be wired across the line, to L1 and L2.
Power: L1-T1-OL-M1, L2-T2-OL-M2. Line one to Line 1 on contactor, T1 on contactor jumpered to OL (overload heater) and out the overload heater terminal M1 to the motor terminal 1. Same for line 2, Line 2 to L2 on contactor, T2 on contactor jumpered to OL (overload heater) and out the heater overload terminal to M2 motor terminal.
The heater overload relays needs to be chosen by the motor full load current, a chart is given with a motor starter on selecting heater size. If no chart is available, go 115% of the motor FLA (full load amps) to select a heater size. E.G. 25 FLA motor at 115% is 28.75a. Sorry, no schematic available now, draw your own from this info. If using 3 phase, add the third line as duplicating one other line1 or line 2

Check all your connections with soapy water... find the bubbles. If it is coming from the end of a small tube with a needle sticking out of it then it is probably your check valve. Find it and pull it. Look for pieces of dirt and worse impressions left by pieces of dirt. Dirt wipes off, put if back in... impressions, need to get completely smooth with emery cloth and put it back in.

Need torque sequence for head on model ss-3 compressor

Always start inside and work outwards while going 180 degrees acrosss each new bolt, dont get them to rated torque all at one time work in a sereis of increments always inside to out and across from each other and you will be fine, car wheels , everything is this way.

Im plugged directly into a good outlet no exstension cord but reset keeps tripping on compressor every 30 seconds. outlet is not the problem. what else could it be?

If you are plugged into a 10 amp circuit or if the line from the circuit breaker to the outlet is long or 14 guage wire, it could possibly still be the outlet. Try plugging the compressor in to an outlet closer to the circuit box to see if the problem persists.

On the compressor the only thing that would create problems like you're describing is excessive friction in the moving parts. Check where two parts that move together are not doing so without excessive wear or heat. Check to see if the motor is turning freely, the eccentric to connecting rod joint should be free moving and smooth and the piston in the cylinder should be tight but smoothly operating.

More RPM Issues for Tools 1) Have old jointer with motor..1725rpm 5 1/2" pulley.. pulley on jointer is 2 1/2" ..what is 4" jointer blade speed ? also looking for right speed for 4" jointer.. 2)...

I had the same problem a while back, But I didn't bother with exact speed, what I cared more about was power and speed, and not bogging down. And I had it running smooth. Of course I have no idea what the pulley diameters were, but it sounds like you should be real close with the 2 1/2 inch at the head and 5 1/2 inch at the motor spinning 1725, should be about 900? So to get 700, bring the 5 1/2 down to 4 1/2, see if it has enough speed/power.
