Question about Bernina Sewing Machines
I have had the Artista 200 since new and recently it blew the fuse, the dealer replaced the fuse once again after it blew it a second time. Now concluded, its the mother board that needs to be replaced.
little more info: the machine is connected to a APC UPS.
Is there any experience out there with with this model "blowing the fuse"
I suspect there is a wire cable pinched between the covers and the frame somewhere. Someone needs to inspect all the wires and possibly replace a cable or maybe one of the plugs isn't seated correctly. The motherboard (S-print or L-print) could very well be bad but only because it got shocked in the process. Static will do this if the person is not grounded with a wriststrap while servicing. Or a plug or cable bad or pinched.
