Turn off the power on the back of the console. Turn it back on while holding down the i/o button until it beeps 3 times this will force a reset. Worse comes to worse you could reformat the hard drive but this would eliminate any info you had stored on it. Sometimes the update info on the games is faulty and contains glitches which cause this problem. Until this year I've never played online and have experienced the same thing as well in the past
1. turn off system completely (this means the switch on the back) 2. hold touch sensitive reset button down till you hear 3 beeps, than let go. 3. hold down touch sensitive reset button until you hear 2 beeps and a double beep. 4. follow on screen directions, choose what option you want (i pick 3, it seems to work the best) 5. follow on screen directions
There is an alternate way to restore your HDD. Turn off your system and when u see the red light, hold the power button in front until you hear a total of 4 beeps (1 alone, 1 alone, 2 together). It usually works on second try. it should show a screen and say hook up controller with a usb cord. Then it should show i think 6 options. Choose the restore option. it should work.
Hope it works and wish you all the best! P.S.- I just got the 80010514 error on my ps3 and my ps3 games dont work anymore :(
Update to firmware 2.5 if you can , if your already on v2.5 firmware go to the recover menu and select restore ps3 system (search youtube ) or you can remove the hdd and put it in a 2.5" powered hdd enclosure and try to format by your pc or just take out your ps3 hard drive and then turn it on.
I'm also having this problem as well, it has to do with the OS and it is corrupted. It seems like the "Game mode" has been corrupted preventing us from playing games on the hard drive or reading games.
the wireless headseats are hard to connect to the game to the point of why get a wireless headseat. you have to reconnect it every time you wanna play but ne way...after configuring the ps3 (in the settings menu under accessory settings and register bluetooth device) then you have to connect it throught the menus in Warhawk to set up bluetooth then while in waiting area press connect button on headseat. otherwise get wired headseat plug in and go
