How to protect your Phone from Unauthorized Use ?

To protect your phone from unauthorized use Sony Ericsson

Go to Menu > Settings > General > Locks > SIM Lock > Protection.

To protect your phone from unauthorized use, just follow these simple steps. Once activated, your phone will require the user to enter a password each time it’s turned on.
Go to Menu > Settings > General > Locks > SIM Lock > Protection.

To turn your PIN code request on, you will be prompted to enter a 4 to 8 digit phone code (that you create) Call Customer Care to obtain a PIN/PUK code to enter at the prompt.

Note: You will have 3 chances to correctly enter this code. If you incorrectly enter it 3 times, you will see "SIM Blocked" and should visit your nearest retail location to purchase a new SIM card.

Phone locked Need to reset Dont know how

Heres how to reset without access to the phone.

  1. Turn the power off. If your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Hold the Left and right buttons located beneath the display
  3. Press and release the Power button
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to hard reset your Xperia X10

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

My AT&T Sony Ericsson Z750a is asking for a 4-8 digit "Unlock Code" when I insert a different AT&T SIM then came with the phone. The phone itself is "Unlocked" for other providers, but it seems...

your........ ""friend"" has a sim card pin number enabled you can only disable it if you know the pin number.

solution=enter pin number -boot up phone-enter settings and disable

PS: "THEY'LL CATCH YOU ONE DAY."
IF YOU TALK WHILE CROSSING STATE LINES using a stolen sim card IT'S A FEDERAL OFFENSE btw.

I have forgot my phone lock for my sony ericsson k800i. is there anything i can do. please help thanks.

If you are talking about the SIM card lock, you can reset this. After 3 attempts of entering a PIN, you should see "PIN blocked." Once the PIN is blocked, you will need to enter your PUK (Personal Unblocking Key). Call your cell phone service provider for this key. You can now select a new 4 to 8 digit PIN.
---
If you are refering to the Phone Lock feature, this code can be 4 to 8 digits also. The default are four zeros ("0000"). If you have changed this and cannot remember, you must take your phone to an Ericsson retailer or your cell phone service provider.

Phone locked

Okay, well i do not know much about these phones but i will give you a few options that work for verizon.
You can try the standard "0000" also there is the possibility of it being the last four digits of your cell phone number. and if that doesnt work you can call your service provider and they can reset the code.
