Radio Turns Off

My wireless adapter turns off randomly. I have this device for 6 months now, and this is the first time I'm having trouble with it. Control Center says Radio's off and I can't switch it back on.

The turning red means that it cannot connect to your network. If you are having trouble connecting it to your network then you are able to enter the details in manually. The WEP key should be on your router. Try entering this. Hope it helps.

Have realtek 8185, vista, keeps loosing signal

Go to the Device manager and bring up the properties to the realtek 8185 device. There is a tab called Power Management. Click on this tab. There is a checked checkbox that says Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Uncheck this box. This should stop the random disconnects.
