Question about Sony DAV-SB100 System
The tray on my Sony Home Theatre System DAV-SB100 will not open. There is a disk inside. There does not appear to be a manual release (as on my PC). Is there an easy way of releasing it?
The only way to get it open is threw the inside of the system and i wouldn't advise you to do that unless you know something about electronics or if you are lucky try to unplug it for about 30 mins and see if it will reset itself and plug it back up, and when you plug it back up only press the eject button. good luck!!!!!

I got one in to fix with this fault and i found the 3.3Volt line was low.I subbed it with a power supply and the unit will work as long as i keep the 3.3v line at this level. It sits about 2.8V when it failed. The power supply board has a fault somewhere. I could fix it if i had a schematic pdf sent to me.I think you may have the same part gone. My mail is Pat@electronmusic,ca
