Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Web Camera
I have a logitic webcam that I am trying to install, and am getting a message that Service Pack 2 has to be installed, which it already is
Have you tried a later version of the drivers from Logitec
install sp3 for xp
remove USB cam from PC before installing drivers and wait for it to ask for the cam to be plugged in , always use the same port (dont ask)
hope it helps

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
