Buy another HDMI cable.Try another HDMI cable with another HDMI hub on the tv port.If u still have the same problems, mean the whole main tv Tuner signal board have problems and the caused.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.
ours would do that i wont guarntee this will work but try using a different connection like we had a HDMI cord running to our cable box and one day it just went black so i unplugged the tv and still had the other componet wires hooked up to the box i thought it was the cable box so i tried another one and switched the input on my tv and it worked after a few days i could use the HDMI connection again not sure y but hopefully this is what your problem is.
Hello. First you have to figure out location of problem. That means is it inside of your new TV or outside of it? Best way is to connect DVD player with new set of wires to different input and make sure it is working fine picture and sound wise. If OK - connect it to the same input that you are using with satellite box right now. If it works just fine - problem is outside of TV and originated in box or connection cable. If DVD player does not work on any input - you have to call your TV manufacturer and schedule an appointment for repair tech. It is should be free of charge because you have 1-year warranty. Or you can simply return/exchange your TV at the store you purchased it from (depend on store policy). Regards. Russ.
If you are connected to a high definition cable box or satellite tv box you would not need to turn to channel 3 on your television. The television would need to be in the right input either component or hdmi. If someone connected the tv to the cable box or satellite tv box with a coax cable like an antenna cable then the tv channels will be available on channel 3 as well but they will not display in high definition. You change channels with the cable box/satellite tv box remote control. If the above is not correct and you are only connected to an antenna cable and not to a cable box or satellite tv box you will need to complete a channel search from the tv menu. It sounds like you are using a cable box/satellite tv box and that the tv is on the wrong input. If the cable box/satellite tv box is not working (i.e. just a black screen) on your television than that is a different matter entirely.
I just spent an hour trying to fix the VIZIO with the same problem. The screen had no picture at all, but could hear the sound perfectly!! But we i figured out the solution! UNPLUG THE CABLE BOX AND LET IT RE-BOOT! and it WORKED!!!!!
