Cant get full audio when i plug my ipod to jensen UV8

I pluged my ipod to the a/v media adapter plug provided with jensen UV8 and I only get sound out of my two front speakers when using ipod but it works fine with tuner. I was wanting to get sound out of all speakers in my car. I tried changing settings on both the stereo and ipod but still no luck.

The adapter that i'am using is the one provided for the ipod. It has one end that plugs to ipod where the headphones go and the other plugs to the back of the stereos aux 1 input with yellow, red, & white they call it a 4 conductor connector. wich I know i'm not gona get video or control it from stereo but i'd atleast like to get sound on all my speakers.

Double check you didnt cross the connections behind radio the yellow is for video output so mabye u got one of the colors wrong if that fails check that adapter plug (the headphone jack thingy) is it seated properly? remove it and seat it again and check how many bands the silver piece has if its only 1 u gonna get sound from only 2 speakers if u got 2 bands u get surround and 3 bands u get video also

How can i connect my ipod to a kenwood excelon XXV-01D i see the aux plug in the back and when i pluged my ipod in i cant find the mode that allows me to play it.

There is a button that should say SRC or Source. Pressing it scrolls through the modes. Press once to move to FM, another time to move to Satellite, etc.

Stop when you get to AUX.

My uv8 wont eject my disk

I suggest you disassemble the radio and take it out that way. While your in you can check on the blockage. Shouldn' t be hard. Good luck.

Where do I plug in the ipod adapter to Alpine

The back.

There should either be a proprietary CD changer plug you can plug an ipod adapter into, or you will need to connect an adapter inline with your antenna. Depends on what equipment you have.

Where is the auxillary input jack jensen mp5720

the auxiliary input is the 2 RCA cables dongling out of the rear of the unit , you can get an adaptor to turn them into a jack , or an adapter cable for your ipod to jack into the rca inputs .

My Phase Linear UV8 and my Ipod

I wasn't able to find the manual for your Head unit. But, if you have jlink capability with your UV8 and you have an ipod jlink cable, you should just be able to plug the cable in. Then hook up your ipod and the head unit should recognize it when you try to select "ipod" for your source. I wish I could offer more info but like I said I wasn't able to see the manual and I am basing my answer off of what it takes for Kenwood headunits which use a similar "bus" type cable like your jlink. I hope I could help. Let me know if you need furthur assistance. I would happily help.

Ipod connection instruction

you can get a set of phono leads with a jack on just one end?plug that in to the back of the head unit (depending on your pre out options and aux option) then plug it straight in to you ipod.
hope that helps?
