Question about LeadSinger LS-3000 Consumer Microphone
Tha back piece of our leadsinger system LS3700 broke while we putting in a song chip, my kid accidently stepped on it and as a result of that we later on ended up loosing the duet chip. I've tried buying the pieces thru leadsinger but haven't gotten an answer. If any one has a leadsinger that is broken and is interested in selling it for parts please contact me.

We had this problem too. Can you perform any functions with the duet mic? We couldn't, just had the light flashing. Turns out the light is supposed to flash (never is solid). Check the connections to the sub mic pack in the back of the main mic. Ours was loose. Once that was plugged in properly, we turned everything off and started again. All was fine.

We had the same problem just this weekend. However, we investigated it ourselves and discovered that you can take the microphone apart by unscrewing the two small screws inside the mic, under the music chips. Once the screws are out pry the two halves apart very carefully. Once we were inside, we discovered that the soundcard was loose and all we had to do is plug the sound card back in. Close 'er up and start up the show. Good Luck!

Did you go to Leadsinger.com and follow their instructions on doing a Hard Reset? It might help. I had the same problem but with a scrambled picture and no sound. The reset restored the picture but not the sound. Thats when Leadsinger returned it for a reconditioned one that worked worse than the first one. Now I get no response from them.

SOURCE: Power lost on Main Microphone.
sound like you've been f#$^%d I suggest you boycott the company if enough people do it they will be forced to bankrupt then the government can bail them out and own the company this would give them the power to do things like fire the c.e.o.... still doesn't help your situation but it's fun to watch on tv

check the battery, if dead replace new. check the switch might be a cold solder or loose wire and finally check the condenser mic by placing a multitester to the two connectors of the mic with one wire from the mic desoldered. if there's a continuity, then its good. if there's no continuity the mic condenser is busted. go to radioshack and find replacement mic condenser.
