Hi
Can gave it a go
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Flashing orange light

it may be that your printer is due a service. depending how often you use it, i had a similar problem with an epson, every so often the printer needs to be serviced to empty the residue ink tank, this is a small tank that collects all the odd drops of ink, when overprinting, head cleaning etc. it could be just that. thats all i can think of, hope it helps
