Question about Nintendo Wii Console
First the wii takes in the disk, ejects it and takes it back inabout 3 more times and finally just fully ejects it
Before anyone takes off and running tearing into their console, attempt to reformat your Wii.
- From the Wii Menu, select the "Wii" button
- Select Wii Settings
- Click on the blue arrow to the right twice to proceed to Wii System Settings 3
- Select "Format System Memory"
- If Parental Controls are set, enter the PIN
- Select "Format."
Sorry for bumping an old entry here, but this scenario recently took care of my Wii auto-ejection issue so I wanted to share it for those of us experiencing similar issues as our consoles are now starting to show signs of age. At any rate, the step-by-step for the process is directly from the Nintendo website.
The actual thanks for the solution goes to a newb that recently posted to a dated thread within the Gamespot Wii forums.
I can not assure that this is the guaranteed fix for your given situation, but it did work for me. If you do need physical repairs... look to any classified advertisement web service for locals that can do the work. Four years ago Nintendo was quoting this particular repair between $80 and $90. It has likely either gone up in cost... or worse... dropped off the table as an option as the company scales back Wii support in favor of the Wii U.
