Reinstall the installation CD by inserting it in your computer - it will remvoe the old version, and reinstall the new.

I just can,t get my old music files to daleat off the player so i can put my new music play list on , because i have no room

Try this solution for your problem

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

How do i reset my coby mp3

There should be a tiny hole in the case.  Use a small paper clip.  With the unit turned on, press the paper clip into the hole to reset it.

Plug the mp3 player into your computer with the cable it came with. Use Windows Media Player to browse your music and movies and "Sync" with your mp3 player.

How can I take music off and put new music on

The music that is on any mp3 player is a copy of what you have stored in the library of your computer music software so if you want to delete a song from your mp3 player you have to delete it on the computer then syncronise. This is the same if you want new music, you have to add to your library first. You cannot delete music using any of the controls on the actual mp3 player.

You can manually delete the music thru My Computer. Just click on the device name, and open the Music folder. If you dont have a Music folder, you need to enable hidden files and folders on your computer. Best of Luck.
