Open iTunes on your computer and then attach your iPod. iTunes will recognize the iPod and if the software needs to be updated it will tell you. It will tell you if there are updates every time you connect the iPod. Once your iPod shows up in iTunes then you can program it with the songs/playlists/apps/movies/photos, etc., that you want it to sync.
You need to put songs on your iPod through iTunes. You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Connect your iPod and click (Restore). This will rebuild all the software on the iPod and restore your songs.
Not, sir. There are thousands of people (you can be one too) who register and answer like experts.
Okay, the famous Apple iTunes is the thing you're looking for. You can create an Apple Account in the software and access the iTunes Store, which has more than 7 million songs and thousands of movies ready for download.
Each song costs about a dollar and the movies are upto 10 dollars each. There are iPod Apps and Games available too.
ipods are only designed for itunes so windows shouldn't recognise media player, any way, the new software for ipod touches is greater, meaning your computer/windows media player wont recognise it, only itunes will.
