Question about Kenwood KDC-3022 CD Player

Wont work i have a kenwood-3022 and i plug it in to the car and it turns on then off. then i can unplug it and plug it in annd it wont work at all the only time i can get it to do it is when i pull the fuse

    no it does not it holds 12 volts becouse my other radio works on the same wire and it did not work in my buddys car

DOES it ask for a code? check your power sources and make sure they are holding 12 volts.

You have to press the same button you pushed to move the cursor to the right. Once you do that it should "unlock"

Did you ever enter a code that you chose? If so, reenter it. If not, call kenwood with serial # and they can tell you the oem preset code.

the only way you can get the code is to ring kenwood with the make and model or try 0123 ,1234,0000,4321

only the original owners manual for the cd player has it as it is meant to prevent a theif from using it of selling it you can down load a copy of the manual at www.kenwood.com from the instruction manuals page

Cd won't eject


can u take face off hit eject from behind it ? thers emgency eway but u need to pull whole unit out and on toppush it out

Have you gone into the menu settings and turned on the AUX input?

If you hit the "source" button and AUX does not show up. It needs to be turned on.

Auxillary option not available in menu


Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
