Question about Toshiba Satellite A60 Notebook
I recently bought a toshiba satellite pro a60 notebook off ebay and it was working ok. I did a fresh install on it win xp pro. Since then it came up with a fatal error has occoured after booting into windows. error 0x73 power saver. I have googled the problem and sorted it by installing the toshiba hot key utility. When this came up the notebook was switching itself off randomly. then not booting up when pressing the power switch. just the blue led around the switch was coming on. none of the components or screen were booting up. after removing the battery for a few seconds it boots up again. Its still doing this after i fixed the power saver fatal error. I have looked in device manager and it has a missing driver for the sm bus controller!?! not sure if this would cause a problem or if the battery might be faulty? any advice would be most appreciated.
Did u install already all the drivers for the A60???
then, update / flash the bios... http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1213736&rpn=PSA60U&modelFilter=A60-S1072&selCategory=3&selFamily=1073768663&selModel=1213736|PSA60U
