I had the same problem with mine, I fixed it, but you might not want to do that. All mine came with a warranty, but I heard some don't have warrantys. Has the whammy bar been whacked around lately? if so, the sensor is just knocked out of place and can be easily fixed.

Bridge: the guitar keeps getting out of tune. Should I block it with a piece of wood, making it more like a fixed bridge?

Do NOT modify the guitar. Take it to a shop where they can set it up properly if you are having intonation or clearance problems. Also the quality of strings has a lot to do with changes in tuning. It is NOT uncommon for a guitar to require tuning during a half hour of playing. This is normal, especially if you are really driving it. Temperature affects the tuning drastically as well.

My whammy bar is broken off of the guitar so it recognizes that im pushing down the whammy bar when im really not what can i do

Hmm there really isn't much that I can think of, however, you can try to mess around with the broken piece and try to get it to reverse the effect. After all, it's broken anyways. If that doesn't work the only solution I can think of is investing in a new guitar. So just try to mess around with it, see what happens. Good luck!

I have a Fender Squier Strat. The Whammy bar is

There are MANY tricks to remove a threaded piece like this:

1. With a Dremel tool and a cutoff carborumdum disc cut a shallow slot in the remaining piece and use a straight bladed screw driver to remove. This can only be done if the screw is above or flush with the surface.

2. Carefully drill a small hole in the piece fairly well centered. Use an "EasyOut" to remove the broken part.

3. Carefully drill several small shallow holes on the top of the broken part in a line so as to form a slot for a screwdriver.

4. Carefully drill a hole JUST the right size into the broken part and then drive an Allen wrench into the hole to turn the broken part. The hole has to be just the right size so the wrench can peal tiny pieces off to grab the broken part.. this is tricky to get the size just right.

5. Use a detist drill to cut a slot.

In all these use a penetrating oil or CRC226 to make it easier to turn.

I dont know how to put a whammy bar on a fender stratocaster

Look near the near the highest string at the the silver part known as the bridge. There should be a hole right near the bottom of the thinnest string.Take the threaded end of the whammy bar and screw it in clockwise into the body.

Wii Rockband guitar won't work.

you need to have the (3inchX3inch) white box connected to the 4 plug usb connector. also batteries need to be in guitar, then when rock band is on power guitar up(switch on back) and press little button just under the whammy bar, looks like the place "your amp" would be plugged in
