Question about Master Heaters Air Hogs R/C Havoc Cyclone

1 Answer

My air hogs havoc cyclone stunt plane's steering doesn't work. The propeller works fine, but the rudder does not react.

My rudder coil broke a wire - its a simple field that runs in one direction for right and the other for left. Unless you can find both tiny

ends of the broken wire to reattach - no turns for you.

I can't see where the rudder wires route to the battery/switch/receiver area - the only thing I see is a wire(s) that *appears* to run right through the middle of the propeller shaft?!

    This can't be right.

Try changing out the rudder or rudder may not be in neutral position.

How do you replace the propeller on the Air Hogs Sky Stunt, Blue?

To replace the Propeller on an Air Hogs Sky Stunt plane (I got this from their customer server number):
1.) Hold the propeller and turn the nose (at the grey plastic edge, not the rubber) counter clockwise (aka left) until the nose unscrews.
2.) Slid off the OLD propeller.
3.) Slid on the NEW propeller (You will notice there are slots on the propeller mount), need to line up the propeller with those slots.
4.) While holding NEW propeller, screw the nose back on (similar to step # 1) clockwise (aka right).

Hope this helps someone else.

My helicopter has no lift even when fully chargered. The props are spinning but it just stays on the ground.

i got a new model havoc heli and the trim buttons did not help at all... in the end I took a motor/prop off of an air hog styrofoam plane I had that was identical to the havoc heli tail rotor and swapped em out.. Problem solved... there was some sort of error with the tail rotor

Air hog havoc goes up and down just fine, no steering control

The steering control only makes the copter rotate.

But if the heli is properly balanced a right turn should get you some forward motion. A left turn should just make it spin back to the left.

Adding weight to the front of the copter will give it continuous forward motion. Then you will lose the ability to hover.

If you visit the Air Hogs website (www.airhogs.com), select "need help" and then Havoc Heli, then crash course, the video will show you how it works.

I also find that climbing makes the heli spin left and descending makes it spin right. So full right for initial startup, then a little right when climbing, and a little left when descending helps to smooth things out.

Keep in mind that this is a very small and cheap helicopter. It took me a while to get used to flying in circles to the right but with practice I have been able to get it to go somewhat where I want it to. I can take off and land from the coffee table without crashing.

Top propeller broke on Air Hog Heli. Where and how can I replace this

call them up at (it free to call a 1-800 #)

1-800-622-8339 (its on the back of your remote for havoc, and in manual)
ask them for assistance, but on my havoc, it looks like it cant be fixed, because to take out the propeller you need to fix, you need to open foam spongy part, and i rather just buy a new one.

Wont fly

I have an Air Hogs havoc cyclone stunt plane. I am not sure if your plane has this, but on my plane's remote there left and right steering trim buttons. Play around with these until your plane flies correctly.
