Question about XM Radio Dual XMP7000 Auto In-Dash CD player and XM Satellite Radio

XM Roady is non functional

I have a XM Roady XT. XM has sent a reloading signal three times but it shows loading all day long. As I scanned the channels it showed the same names of the songs several days in a row. I bought a new antenna in case that was the cause but no improvement. I really do not want to replace it and my docking stations. Can you fix it? Craig

I have no xm channels

Sounds to me like a faulty tuner. I would explain all of this to the dealership, and have them replace the tuner. It's not built in to the radio, and is the only thing other than an antenna that could cause this problem, I mean it is POSSIBLE for the issue to be in the radio, but wouldn't be my first guess.

Regardless of what the problem is, it's new, and should be covered under warranty.

Good Luck!

I wired a roadie xt on my ultra classis and it cuts out/no signal often. Will wiring it to the back antenna in addition to connecting to the receiver help or solve the problem?

The antenna has to be completely visible to the sky. We haqd the same thing happen. Installed it on the trunk lid and it works great.

XM Loading Problem for Volkswagen

I had the same issue. I called XM multiple time to have the signal resent. I told them I was receiving the preview channels and nothing else. I asked them multiple times if it could be hardware issue and they said no. I took it to the dealer and they ran a test ($98) and determined that the unit had failed. They didn't charge me for the $800 unit, but they did charge me $300 for the installation. Its working fine now.
