Msj2222 - you got your Skybox working - can you help me??
I am having the same problem as referenced in the forum - it sounds like I too need the relay overload switch referred to by Mike4671. IF you figured out how to install, could you post a pic or reply to me directly??

Dont have a picture, but when you replace it -- switch the wire one wire at a time---- very easy to do --- the overload relay and cover are on the left side of the back of unit ---- looking straight at the back -- switched item out and works like new

The relay on your box is damaged.. You have to get it replaced.. Not to be tried by a novice but if you have some experience in electronics it can be fixed by you. The relay costs around 75$. Good luck!
Sorry, I don't have this problem.
My skybox flashed all lights and did not deliver.
I cleaned mildew off the photo eye on the left side of the tray flap
(very small) and my skybox continues to work to this day.
For the soda name tags, I pulled logos off the internet and printed them the correct size on 20-pound paper. Different paper gives different translucence, so you might have to experiment to get the right amount of light coming through. PS: thanks for the part no. on the relay
Looks like I found the answer to the problem of Skybox not dispensing. I replaced the sensor in the dispensing door and my Skybox now works great! Part is available from partselect.com just look up your Skybox model number, mine was Skybox model MBV1976AAB. The diagram on the website should show you the exploded view of the door section of your Skybox. You are looking for partselect.com part number 901892 or on the exploded view it will be number 21. The Maytag part number is 11001182, board flipper sensor. My Skybox had been down for two years and now works again!
Try PartSelect.com for Skybox parts.
I ordered a part on Monday night and installed it on Wednesday night.
The parts are not that hard to find.
