Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
The slot the memory card is pushed in doesn't want to stay closed to keep the memory card in - we had to tape it shut????? It is brand new, I just got it for my son for Christmas. Are we doing something wrong?
Possible you're not getting the card in all the way , the door isn't supposed to hold it in , it just covers it , you almost need to use a fingernail to get it in all the way , it goes way in and you will feel a click when it locks. hope ya get it.

The only time I have had this happen, is when the cicuit card inside slid back. This keep it from connecting to the PS2 memory slot. It is simple to repair, open the memory card up and slide it forward infront of the stay that supposed to keep it forward. If the stay is broken, then put someting inside the memory card to keep the circuit card pushed forward.
