Question about Uniden 5.8GHz Dual Cordless Phone
I LOST MY MANUAL AND CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO LOG ON TO MY PHONE TO HEAR MY MESSAGES WHEN I'M NOT HOME.
This instruction may help you , if not a model number could help , but try these instructions . thanks
To operate from a remote location, use any touch-tone telephone, and follow these steps:
Call your telephone number and wait for the answering machine to answer. If the answering machine is off, it will answer after about 10 rings and series of beeping sounds.
During the greeting message (or a series of beeps when the answering machine is off), press and enter your PIN code within 2 seconds (see "Setting a Security Code or Personal Identification Number (PIN)" on page 57).
The answering machine announces the current time and the number of messages stored in memory. You hear "To play incoming messages, press zero-two. For help, press one-zero." You will hear a beep.
Enter a remote command within 15 seconds, each command there after must be entered within 2 seconds. You may select a command from the following chart:
Command 0 then 1
Repeat a Message*
Command 0 then 6
Answering Machine On
Command 0 then 2
Command 0 then 7
Command 0 then 3

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Go to the base unit.
scroll to the answering machine option.
Under there is a setting for your security key.
you can read what's there, or change it to your own two digit code.
when you call in, during the message, enter that two digit code and it'll go into messages. There's a "toll saver" mode so that the machine answers after two rings instead of 4, so that if you call and it rings 3 times, you know there's no new messages.
