Question about ASUS A7V400-MX Motherboard

Bios help me sir i am jose from kerala i got asua a7v400 MX SE i bought a widescreen moniter.but motherboard was not supporting it So I updated my motherboard bios to have a check now i got another problem " system is not loading OS, when i switch on a message " SYSTEM IS INTERRUPTED CHASIS IS OPENED OR TAMPERED BEFORE . PLEASE CHECK IT.." . Thus system will load bios setup.

Try to look the bios setting, look and see the open chase setting. turn off the Open chase setting. Save and restart your computer.

You won't, this motherboard's on board video adapter will not support resolution for a wide screen. If you want to run wide screen you can purchase a VGA card and not use the on board video adapter

Memory upgarade


Yes, it will work. Remember that all memory will operate at the speed of the slowest memory though so unless you're completely replacing the memory it won't increase the speed of the memory.

Bios update problem


ther is a swich in your computer that tells it if system was opened its just a worning
go into your biose and turn warnings off,
its that simple.
i dont know you biose but i do know this proble.
and also make shure you close up your computer properly so it reds closed in the biose.

Bios problem for A7V400-MX


Make sure that the battery contacts are good. If they are then you then are experiencing a faulty BIOS chip. try reflashing the BIOS. If this doesnt work, replace the board.
