There is another legitimate and easy way to disable seat belt chime. Radio is supposed to stay on til door opens. That is correct

fastening seat belts is not always the answer as some sensors need weight to cancel the light after the seatbelt is fastened. best have it checked out by an auto electrician as the seats may have been changed and the wiring not properly connected.

As far as I know that seat belt warning chime and light is there for your safety and protection, it should not be bypassed in any way.
There is no by pass seqwuence or code to eliminate this safety device.
Buckle up, its the law.

under the seat there should be a plug for the sensor when you sit down it actuates the seat belt check that it is plugged in or that someone has not cut it to quiet the alarm chime if so reattach it

sensor in the seat belt bukle needs to be replaced

You mean when the belts are not fastened right?
In the owner's manual it talks about how to disable the seatbelt warning by fastening then unfastening the belt in an exact pattern at an extact time.
I do not know if that will help but it may be a key to finding a solution.

rear seat belts lock if you pull them out all the way and put them ALR mode. Automatic Locking Restraint. It will ratchet as the belt is rewound. This is for holding a child seat in place.

This is straight from my 2009 f150 owners guide

Preperation
1. the parking brake is set
2. truck in park
3. ignition switch is in off position
4. both seat belts are unbuckled

Disable Belt-Minder
1. turn the ignition switch to the on position, DO NOT START THE ENGINE.
2. wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (approximately 1 minute).
* step 3 must be completed within 50 secs after the safety belt warning light turns off.
3. buckle then unbuckle the seat belt nine times, ending in the seat belt unbuckled.
* after step 3 the restraint warning light, (airbag light) will turn on for three (3) seconds.
4. within approximately seven (7) seconds of the light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt.
* the restraint system warning light will flash four, (4) times per second for 3 seconds for confirmation

you can do this for the passenger side also!!!


*NOTE
in step 3. after three times buckling and unbuckling the restraint warning light lit up in my truck. SO I WENT TO THE NEXT STEP, (STEP 4). waited 3 seconds and i buckled and unbuckled.

in the buckle /unbuckle procedure do it some what slowly and watch for the light. it may not take 9 times.
