Find out what format you are saving your photos to in the camera. You may not have the correct program on your computer for playback. Did a disk come with the camera with software you are missing? Some camera companies make you use their playback. Often there are settings on the camera to choose how you save the photos/video. If you read your manual you may find you can change that to JPEG and MPEG. Good luck.
sometimes even when the play back function is working you wont be able to see it due to the DISP button. canon has one disp button in lower right hand corner. when you are in play back mode, press the disp button three times. at any one point you must be able to see the photos. else revert back to us.
The playback for the videos is the same as the photos. Once you are in playback mode, use the directional button to go left or right to find the video, once you found it press "up" on the directional button to start the video.
Well, U prob. got it wet, whatever ur name is. And it prob doesnt work. I just lost my USB cable for it. And i cant download it. But, anyway, u prob broke it. Srry charlie. Hehehe, what if ur name was really charlie. That would be funny.
FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT FROM THE CANON SITES AND REVIEWS MOST OF THESE FUNCTIONS ARE CONTROLLED IN THE PLAYBACK MODE MENU. THEY CLAIM THERE ARE MANY SETTINGS THERE THAT ONE CAN SET TO ACCESS PHOTO'S BY EVERY 10TH PHOTO,SO THAT WOULD MEAN YOU WOULD SEE LIKE 1,10,20,30,40,50 ETC IN RAPID ORDER. THIS SEEMS TO BE WHAT YOUR CAMERA IS DOING. I'M NOT THERE WITH YOUR CAMERA, BUT DOES THIS SOUND LIKE WHAT IT IS DOING? IF IT DOES, THEY SAY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SET IT TO SHOW ONLY ONE BY ONE ORDER. THIS WOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM,RIGHT? IF THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU THINK YOUR CAMERA IS DOING REPLY TO ARCLIGHT1217 AND I'LL SEE IF I CAN FIND MORE INFO IN THEIR REVIEWS. GOOD LUCK! LET ME KNOW HOW YOU COME OUT WITH RESETTING THE MENU.
Good Day, your resolution was changed to 160, thats why it has blank borders during playback, return to 640 fine or standard resolution by pressing the garbage/pail button while in video clip mode, move cursor up to 640, its up to you fine or standard, fine mode is more detailed and will eat up more memory space. hope this will help, thanks
