Wii remote not selecting song for guitar hero wii

We can not get the wii remote to confirm the song after we have made a song "line up". The quitar works, and so does the wii remote up unitl we want to confirm our song line up and start playing. It says to push the "+" button. We have tried both remotes and the "A" button as well and it still wont work. Any ideas on how to fix it ?

The "+" key it is talking about is on the guitar itself. Look just above the star power bar and you will see it.

Rockband TrackPack

Unfortunately, the guitar that comes with the Guitar Hero does not work with Rock Band or Rock Band 2. Rock Band, as you mentioned, recognizes the Wiimote as the controller for the microphone.

Unfortunately, you will have to get a guitar that is specifically designed for Rock Band.

I know this isn't the answer that is popular, but if you vote for my solution, please vote at least "Thanks for Trying".

Thanks for using Fixya!

Guitar does not work with guitar hero and everything freezes

you have to open the thing on the wii where you put the SD card, and there will be a red button. Press it. Then, plug in the remote to to controller, open the battery compartment and press the red button. This should sync the remote to the wii. In the future you have to plug in the remote to the controller BEFORE the wii is turned on. As for your second problem i dont know.

How do I get the rest of the songs on the box

Many of the songs you see listed need to be "unlocked" by playing through the songs that you currently see available. As you progress through the game, more songs become available. Also, you will be able to "purchase" songs in the game by using the "money" you earn by performing. It's another way songs are unlocked. There are also songs you can buy online from within the game if this is Guitar Hero World Tour you're referring to. Have fun!

The same thing happened to me when i bought GH3. The only solution for me was to return it and get a new one. The manager at game stop said that this is a pretty common problem and a lot of people have returned guitars for the very same reason.

Unable to connect drums and guitar for guitar hero world tour wii

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.
