A fuse is possibly blown or the poweboard is burned have it inspected, you can check the fuse yourself if your careful and handy with the tools. are you getting power from the wall socket? so its not a problem with the electricity its in the tv?

I have a Samsung 61 inch dlp tv and a tree fell outside of my house and now tv wont turn on and is making a noise

Maybe it is already on. You might want to explain how the two are connected. The only assumption I can make is it hit the power line and caused a surge.

Hitachi 46w500 went off tonight during storms, low voltage, wont turn back on

There might be a failure on the power supply or horizontal section of the TV even if you see some light inside the TV. Some of the voltages could be missing and that is why the TV fails to power up.
If you know how to use a multimeter, you could check all the fuses from your power supply.
Unplug your TV from the main AC line if you intend to do it yourself.
You will know how much you can do or it might safer to contact a tech.

Says weak signal

Presuming you are already connected to a DTV box, welcome to the new improved TV service. I get it a lot due to atmospheric conditions ( rain, wind, etc ). Trees filter out your TV signals as well. Options : save the trees.. or relocate your antenna to get a clearer path.. or go to antenna tv.org & put in your street address, more reliable than a zipcode. Then, either with an old fashion compass or the "Smart Compass" app off of Google Play, realign your antenna to point towards the most stations you can. Mine just happens to be 204?.. or have a service company install an antenna rotor if you live in an area where the wind would blow it out of alignment frequently. Good luck. -DellTech1

We had a trasnformer blow and our power went of.the tv didnt make no noise our nothing.when the power came back on the tv wont come on.

It sounds like you might get lucky and have blown the in-line fuse. By lucky, I mean, it could be worse, but you need to open the tv and check for the "white/Slow Blow" fuse that connects to the power plug of the tv.

Hope this helps :)

Signal intermittenly drops (no signal), or is extremely weak

you could consider buying an External antenna. But do have a professional to come out and install it or follow the manuals instructions exactly and dont replace or substitute any parts. otherwise improper grounding will damage the TV.

Tv won't power on

Good day, mochoaaanderpear;

Hitachi has LED’s, green ‘lights’ and a red light to determine what circuit may be the problem; after removing the back of TV, bottom only, plug TV back in and observe which LED’s come on …..BUT most important which LED’s don’t come on; locate and note number, EG; DP37 and etc.

Good luck, big IRISH. Ps let me know.
