Www.laptopparts.com would be a great place to start. CF-52 is a Panasonic Toughbook laptop.

How to transfer photos from CF to desktop

Hello

OK, firstly, you basically have 2 options.

Firstly you can put the CF card in a camera and transfer the data using the USB cable.

Or

You can buy yourself a CF card reader , as seen in the image below.

lock123.jpg

This is the easier and much more convenient way of performing this task. You wil be able to buy this reader at any computer or camera store for about $20.

please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
Andrea

My dvd drive is not opening when I try to burn a cd. I own a new CF-52 Tough book.

do you mean when you push the botton to open the drive? is there something in it? can you perform an eject via My computer? also there is a spot where you can stick a pin to manually open the drive..... if might be the drive is lose? is it swapable? i would try removing it from the drive bay and putting it back in.. obviously while the computer is turned off.

Drivers For Panasonic CF E1

You will need to find out what motherboard/graphics are in your pc, then search for drivers, but as this is no longer made or supported and everthing is built in the unit, it's more than likely of retirement age
