Question about Electrolux ER7620C Refrigerator
UN-PLUG YOUR FRIG !!!! THEN LOOK BEHIND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FRIG FOR THE COMPRESSOR ...CAREFULLY REMOVE THE TERMINAL COVER FOR THE COMPRESSOR ... IT USUALLY HAS A SMALL METAL CLIP THAT HOLDS THE COVER ON. OR SOME MODELS HAVE A SCREW OR TWO THAT YOU MAY HAVE TO UN-DO. LOOK TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY BURNT-OFF OR BARE-WIRES TOUCHING THE CONTROL BOX OR COMPESSOR BODY. THATS WERE MOST OF THE SHORTS OR BURNT OFF WIRES ARE FOUND. THERE IS A CAPACITOR AND A START RELAY MOUNTED ON THE COMPRESSOR ... BE CAREFUL NOT TO REMOVE WIRES AND FORGET WERE THEY CONNECT. I WILL CHECK BACK TO SEE IF THAT WAS THE AREA OF THE PROBLEM ... THER ARE AFEW MORE ...BUT TRY THE COMPRESSOR AREA FIRST.
