Connect the cable from the tv to the "IN" of the vcr. then connect the "OUT" of the vcr to the tv. play the program on your tv and push record on the vcr. you have to watch what you're recording, but at least it will record.

Hi, You might have a tape in the VCR that has the 'record tab' broken-out, prohibiting recording. IF you want to record, eject the tape and put a piece of scotch tape over the missing square tab on the bottom corner of the VHS tape. Good luck and let me know if that works for you.

How do I connect my Sansui 6010B VCR with an analog TV and a DTV tuner?

two ways of connecting VCR with Analog TV with DTV tuner.
DTV tuner (RF) output to VCR (RF) input,VCR (RF) output to analog TV (RF) input.
turn DTV tuner on (VCR should have a TV\VCR switch that makes signal coming from tuner BYPASS VHS right into TV) note:: change channel FROM tuner. You should be able to record by placing a blank tape and pressing RECORD.
2ND. DTV tuner, VCR, should have a RCA in\out connections...Audio & video. You need a RF\RCA bypass switch. It has a INput with RCA connections to a RF signal out that goes to the RF Input of analog TV

I need to record from my camcorder to the VCR. How do I do this?

All you need to do is get a lead that will fit into the audio/video sockets of the camcorder and fit it into the 3 sockets (left side) on the front of the VCR shown in the picture of this post. Set the VCR channel selector to the front socket. Press play on the Cam, press record on the VCR and it should copy it.
Sometimes the lead comes with the camcorder. They are colour coded, match the colours with the VCR front sockets.

I need to know how to hook up my vcr to my dvr to record something off of it onto a vhs tape. directv said i need to contact the maker of the vcr & guess what RCA doesn't help with that. but i...

Ok. You connect the vcr to the televison first. Take an rca cable and connect it to the video out of the vcr then connect the other end to the av input on your television. Then take another set of RCA cables and connect them to the RCA av input on your vcr and connect the other end to the output on your dvr.

Now hopefully your tv has another RCA input you can hook directly to the dvr with another set of RCA cables to another one of the dvrs outputs. If not then don't worry about that.

Now make sure the tv is switched over to the av video RCA input the vcr is connected to and turn the vcr on. The vcr should be in input and when it is you will see the picture from your dvr and you will change channels with your dvr remote. You can now record using the vcr remote.

Transfer DVD to VHS

You must use the input select button on the vcr remote to turn on the jacks on the front or back of the vcr. If you need a remote, call the customer service number on the vcr to see if it is still available.

Firstly, you're kidding right?

If not, follow the manual which can be found with a google search if you don't have one.

Once you set the clock properly you should have no problem programming the future record time.

Good luck and please tell me you don't drive a vehicle on the roads...

I need to record a show

You have to make sure the channel on the vcr is set to 04 and the channel on your tv is set to 03. That's how mine works.
