Question about Televison & Video
I am trying to program my Brookstone for Satellite TV for Dish Network.
I hold down the SAT key on the remote until the red light comes on. Then I key in the codes listed in the remote guide. I try them one at a time. Then, after each try of the code I press the off button. The TV does not shut off. Therefore, I am not able to use the jumbo remote.
Could you give me some advice?
When dealing with satellite tv, you have to set the remote for satellite by setting the correct code for the satellite dish and pressing on the SAT button. Then, you have to set it for sound by pressing on the TV button and placing the correct code for the brank of TV.
In other words, you must set both sound and satellite to be able to control the channels and the sound. This is somewhat awkward for people with disabilities, but it can be taught.
