What are the best settings for bass , treble and mid in order to get the best sound

There are no hard and fast rules for setting Bass, Midrange and Treble on your radio. Depending on the type of music you are listening to with your radio, it can / will determine your sound settings. To attempt to set the sound settings on your radio, select the sound settings and set all of them to 0. ( Bass, mid, treble ), then start playing your usual music. With the music playing move the treble setting in single incriments 1,2,3,4 and so. A comfortable setting is usually a 5 out of a total number of 6. Then move over to Midrange and repeat process. A 4-5 out of 6 is usually comfortable. Finally comes the Bass. You do not want to overpower your speakers with too much bass as this will damage them over time. Repeat the usual process and listen carfully for any baffling or distortion as you move through the numbers. A comfortable bass setting is usually 2-4 out of 6. Again I must stress that there is no hard and fast rule for settings. It boils down to the type of music, and what your ears tells you sounds good. What sounds good to me might not be enough for you, or vice versa. I hope this helps! Cheers!

My car battery died, after giving the car a jump, the car started, but now my pioneer DEH-P2900MP car stereo won't work at all. could you please assist. thanks.

If you have already checked the fuse(s) that supply the radio and none are blown, you may want to try to reset the unit by disconnecting the power feed to it. Keep in mind that the radio likely has two power for the ignition and another that keeps all memory functions up and running, even when the ignition is off. Disconnecting both of these may allow the radio to reset.

I believe with the radio off you hold the same button you use for audio settings bass treble etc. Then the time will start blinking allowing you to set it.

How can I connect my sony mp3 player to pioneer deh-5800mp in dash stereo

Hello nmfsc,

I am not specifically familiar with the DEH-5800MP but many car stereos these days have an input jack on the faceplate (or under it) which is used to connect the stereo to a MP3 player using a special cable which is available from the manufacturer.

If your stereo doesn't have an input jack, there are other options. One popular method is to connect a wireless transmitter like this one to your MP3 player set to an empty FM radio frequency which you can receive using your car stereo

Best Regards,
