Question about Eureka Lite 4331 Bagged Upright Vacuum
We have changed the bag, cleaned the filter, made sure all hoses are clear. The brushes are turning. We have suction. Just not picking up th dirt very well.
We've loved this vacuum for its price, weight and excellent cleaning abilities and versatility.
It doesn't appear that Eureka makes this model anymore.

On the top cover, there are holes at the front on both sides, there is a screw on each side in one of the holes. Take the out, and the cover should come off, then you can get to the brush roll and belt.

It should be a standard Eureka U belt. That number you have is not a good number. Most repair shops should have this one. The R belt is a real thin and different material.

Usually clogs are in the dirt inlet by the brush roll, or in the hose. Take the hose off from the bottom and see if there is suction, if not, then the hose is clogged. If suction there, then it is lower. Also is the brush roll turning, if not, that could be your problem.

I put 3 turns of electrical tape around the area of the beater bar that meets the vacuum belt. This solved the problem short of replacing the beater bar.
