Question about Alpine CDA-9885 CD Player
When I first got it installed about 1 1/2 years ago it sounded great. Then after a couple of months I noticed that most of the stations I listen to were getting static, but blew it off. Now it is really irritating me and I want it fixed. The store that installed it is now out of business and also my warranty has run out. I want to start new with another car radio guy, but would like to be proactive on what the problem could be. I have been that this is an awesome product, but you could have fooled me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Your antenna wire could be loose behind the radio because sometime they will have to use an adapter because of the size another thing could be if you have a sirius/xm radio they will send you an adapter to cut down on the static for free also the adapter on the sirius could be loose or bad good luck
