Right click on your desktop
Choose "Graphic Options"
Go to the orientation settings
Change the settings there so your screen looks as it should.

Change I-phone screen from vertical to horizontal

You can change your screen from vertical to horizontal by the way you hold it. If you have the vertical/horizontal turned off you just unlock your phone and slide up with your finger from the bottom to the top and the menu with brightness, sound, airplane mode, wireless, etc., will come up. Click on the last bottom in the first row that looks like a lock with a circle around it and make sure it says that its off (which will be black instead of white).

How do i change the screen from vertical display to horizontal

The IBM ThinkPad Z61t computer runs the Windows operating system. Normally, Windows is displayed on a monitor in a manner that makes it easy to read. If you want to change the screen display configuration (from vertical to horizontal), modify the screen display properties in Windows itself. This process causes the computer to rotate the image displayed on the screen by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, depending on the setting you choose.

1.Right-click on an empty portion of the Windows desktop on the Z61t.

2.Click "Properties."

3.Click "Display."

4.Click "Change display settings."

5.Click the "Orientation" drop-down window. Select the "Landscape" option to make the screen display items in a horizontal manner.

How do you adjust the vertical lines going across my screen?

The vertical deflection circuit of your tv has a problem.
First, try to replace the vertical ic. This ic can be found near the plyback or horizontal section. It is a linear ic with heatsink.
If nothing happens after replacing the ic, replace all the polarized capacitor near the ic and resolder the components at the vertical section.

I just replaced my AV board in my Samsung DLP because the HDMI input was out. When I put my new AV board in, hooked up HDMI, the display was upside down.

there has to be 2 wires reversed on the A/V board, because the vertical circuit and also horizontal circuits operate on D.C. polarity on T.V. sets and if all is the "RIGHT WAY" now you don't want to reverse the "YOKE" connections and make this problem right and now the rest of is back-wards now instead, it used to be fun to do this years ago on older sets, to someone as a joke when you could unplug and reverse the wires and all was reversed right to left/down to upper screen

Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

the keys ctrl+alt+right arrow should do the trick for you. if not then right click on the keyboard and select properties for options and you will find your graphics software has its own rotational software. good luck with two year old, sounds like you'll need it.
