SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

Is the Zoom ADSL X6 modem router supposed to provide connectivity for a 3G Kindle? If so, how do I set things up?

Zoom X6 routers don't work with either Kindles or Nooks- it seems the connect on demand to save power confuses the Zoom router - typically requiring the unpractical fix of rebooting the router every two minutes.

Bought a new dell desktop computer, can I hook it up directly to my zoom x6?? Or do I need something else for that to happen. I have unsuccessful with using disk

Yep, just plug it in to one of the four yellow ethernet ports in the back of the x6 - use a straight cat5 ethernet cable, you should be all set!

Zoom X6 ADSL- Setting Security Settings

Yes .... problem now solved. Helpful guy from Zoom got back to me, but the real issue was ..... you must (with talktalk at least) use your IP password as the Passphrase. So the instruction to select a Passphrase is understated. It needs to be more specific. I used the WPA 2 setting in the Zoom Webpage Device Wireless Setup, and then the WPA2-personal, in Zoom Newtwok Properties Section on my PC.

DSL light flashing constantly

Hi,

I had the same problem to begin with. Here is what the Zoom helpdesk suggested:
"To force the dsl light to stop blinking, please follow these steps.

1) Open up your web browser and type 10.0.0.2 in the address bar. Type in the the username and password to log in to the modem.
username: admin
password: zoomadsl

2) When you get to the address bar, Click on advance setup.

3) Click on ADSL Configuration.

4) Change the standard to G.Dmt and change the activate line to Start.

5) Save changes and then write settings to flash.

Within a 1 or 2 minutes, the dsl light should go solid."

This worked for me. Good luck.

If the Internet light is off it means you are not either authenticated at your provider or your configurations are wrong on the modem. If you go to your command prompt and type ipconfig and check your IP address and your default gateway. The IP address on your default gateway would be your router put that IP address on your browser and should be able to see your modem setting and any error messages that could help resolve your issue
