Question about Jwin JD-VD625 System

1 Answer

How to connect this entertainment system to existing sony recieve

I just purchased the Jwin JD-VD625 and I want to keep using my Sony receiver because we listen to our Sirius satellite radio through the receiver. The directions only show how to hook everything up to the television, but it doesn't mention a receiver. Any suggestions? Thanks

This is a standalone system. It can't be used with a receiver. Sorry.

try pressing the aux button on the front of the reciever while the reciever is linked up to the tv ,if that dont work connect a red and black banana plugs into your aux on the back of the reciever and on the other end of the lead must be a head phone pin check size of headphone socket. to plug in to your tv head phone volune then u can control the recievers volume through the tv using the remote.go to menu then tv set up then scroll to the sound note icon press enter scroll down click on head phone and turn it up then you should have sound through the speakers from the tv.

I have just purchased a home cinema system: SONY 46" LCD, KEF3005 SPKS, SONY STRDA2400ES RCVR, SONY S55O BLURAY. ALSO A VIRGIN HD+ BOX. CAN YOU ADVISE BEST WAY TO CONNECT THIS ALL TOGETHER FOR BEST...

connect all source devices to the Sony LCD tv inputs. and connect the audio output from the tv to the aux input or any one input of the audio reciever. This way you can just leave the av reciever on and control all the input switching with te tv remote. Avoid connecting all the av sources to the reciever and the tv as a monitor from the video out of the av reciever. Just use the av reciever to reproduce the desired audio and do all the input switching with the tv remote. This will simplify the operation an lessen the chance of someone changing the audio settings of the av reciever.

Sony HT-CT100 soundbar + STR-DG720 = Yes misery, no audio

It's not going to do whayt you want. On the premise that you can't run a dedicated receiver to a dedicated receiver. One processor is not going to override another. The soundbar is a "self contained" closed system. Much like Bose products. I understand what you are looking for, it just can't be done with this product. Options: replace the sony soundbar with a passive polk soundbar or similar and keep the AV receiver or: Return the AV receiver and use the nice, but limited sony amplified soundbar. Hope this helps

Program remote for sony ht-5100-d

Use your Directv remote. Use code 10812, remember to program it to change tv inputs also. then program the same remote to control volume on your Sony receiver. Go to the menu on the directv box and follow the onscreen instructions.

Upgrading dvd to blu-ray - how can I use my existing surround sound speakers?

Unfortunately because your existing system does not have the option of connecting an external source, such as another DVD player, the only option you have is to reuse your existing speakers and purchase another amplifier. Trying to patch another DVD into your existing unit would require a bit of technical expertise which would be more trouble than it is worth. The all-in one concept is convenient but very limiting in terms of expansion.

No innputs on my ht

I believe that you will need to purchase the accessories from Sony, such as either the Component Input, or HDMI. The accessories plug into the built-in DMP. Your best bet is to consult a Sony Service Center in person, hopefully with your preferred satellite input connection "in-hand".
